Viser

Why we built Viser

A few years ago, my brother Ryder Wright — CSP, CHST came to me with a problem. Years in construction safety leadership had shown him something frustrating: the issues were real, human, costly, and recurring, but nothing on the market turned that data into something proactive. He had all the pressure of solving his company’s safety problems and none of the visibility to actually do it.

So we sat down and started mapping out what a better system would look like. It took countless nights and weekends — exploring, arguing, laughing, and a near-constant stream of movie quotes — before we landed on a plan. Along the way we realized the same principles that solved Ryder’s problem could solve quality and operations problems across almost any industry.

That solution became Viser — built to help organizations catch recurring failures, trace them to their source, and build accountability before they turn into rework, incidents, delays, or losses.

Years later, we’re still exploring, still arguing, still quoting movies nonstop. If you lead safety, quality, or operations — in construction, manufacturing, or anywhere else — I’d love to hear what you’re seeing in your own organization.
